30/06/2025 - Healthy Leicestershire Digital Solution ref: 15812    Recommendations Approved

Creation of Healthy Leicestershire will make it easier for our residents to access and engage with Public Health information and services, supporting positive behaviour change. It will also likely lead to reduced digital costs in the future by consolidation of current provision, whilst also freeing up staff resources by having fewer digital services to update and manage.

24/06/2025 - Implementation of a Traffic Regulation Order to alter the parking and waiting restrictions on Latimer Street, Anstey ref: 15774    Recommendations Approved

As part of a new residential development on Latimer Street, Anstey, it was required to: remove approximately 7.3m of the existing ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am-6pm except resident’s parking permit holders’; and to install ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions for this 7.3m length. The length of these alterations would cover the newly constructed site access. This sought to protect the visibility splays when accessing Latimer Street from the new development and mitigate any potentially obstructive on-street parking, ensuring a safe Highway environment.
It was also proposed to reconfigure the existing ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions to the southern end of Latimer Street to create 11m of ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am-6pm except resident’s parking permit holders’ parking bays. This sought to compensate for the reduced availability of on-street parking adjacent the new residential development.
