50mph Speed Limit on A606 Nottingham Road, Scalford Road, Saxby Road and B676 Saxby Road.

Following the construction of the A606 North and East Melton Mowbray Distributor Road (NEMMDR) and the subsequent declassification of Nottingham Road, Saxby Road, Thorpe End, Sherrard Street, Leicester Street, Burton Street and Burton Road, Melton Mowbray from ‘A’ and ‘B’ Class roads, the existing 7.5 ton Weight Restriction was to be extended to improve road safety and public amenity and to reduce the number of HGV’s travelling through Melton town centre.

On Loughborough Road, Quorn, the revocation of the existing 50mph Speed Limit and imposition of a 40mph Speed Limit.
On A6004 Terry Yardley Way, Quorn and Loughborough, the revocation of the existing 50mph Speed Limit and the imposition of a 40mph Speed Limit.
