Your area in summary

Dishley, Gorse Covert, Hathern village, the Rockingham Road estate, Warwick Way, the Student Triangle and Knightthorpe/Alan Moss Road is my patch.

The Division, as it's called comprises Robert Bakewell School and Community Centre, Stonebow Primary School and Hathern Primary School.  Most children go on to Garendon or Limehurst High Schools and then to Burleigh College or Harry Carlton in Nottinghamshire.  Some children go to St Mary's RC Primary School in Hastings Street, and DeLisle RC Secondary School, a Specialist Science College, where my children went.

Rosebery School was closed by the Conservatives running the Council after a tremendous campaign against that led by myself, parents, teachers and many others.

We also have Huntingdon Court, a Council residential home for the elderly which the County Council also wants to sell.

The main road running through the area is the A6, which has significant issues, as well as Epinal Way and Warwick Way on which several serious accidents have occurred.
