There are many houses let to students in this area which makes it quite exciting and brings me all sorts of issues. I'm assisted in this by SARG, the Storer and Ashby Residents Group which meets monthly in St Peters Community Centre.
Cllrs Christine Harris and Patrick Youell have given us all great assistance in this respect.
The Ashby Road (A512) takes a lot of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. We need free flow in and out of the town and to protect pedestrians at the same time.
