The County Council is proposing no waiting at any time restrictions along Parsons Lane and Mistral Close, Hinckley. Numerous concerns and complaints have been made to the County Council and County Councillor regarding obstructive parking which has also restricted waste collection services accessing the road. The proposals sought to remove parking from both sides of the road and along the footway, to improve highway safety and ensure of safe egress along Parsons Lane.

The consultation for this Traffic Regulation Order was carried out for a period of three weeks between 16 October 2024 and 6 November 2024. It was advertised in the local press, and on the County Council’s website. All statutory consultees were contacted, and two objections were received. The local member Mr S. Bray CC supported the scheme.
