The County Council had chosen to review the existing parking provision due to the number of concerns raised by members of the public and businesses regarding the availability of parking in Hinckley Town Centre.
To implement the Hinckley Town Centre Improvements scheme. To increase the number of limited waiting bays, including changes to the timings of the limited waiting bays. To relocate the bus stop away from the pedestrian crossing point.

The consultation was carried out for a period of three weeks between 3 April 2024 and 24 April 2024. It was advertised in the local press, and on the County Council’s website. All statutory consultees were contacted, and two objections were received. The local member Mr S. Bray CC was in support of the scheme.
