The Speed Limit Reduction Order was proposed as a wider road safety scheme in the vicinity of One Ash roundabout, Quorn to improve road safety.
To implement the following changes to the Speed Limit as part of a road safety scheme at One Ash Roundabout, Quorn:
The extension of existing National Speed Limit and a reduction to 40mph Speed Limit on the A6, Quorn/ Mountsorrel Bypass approaching One Ash Roundabout Quorn.
On Loughborough Road, Quorn, the revocation of the existing 50mph Speed Limit and imposition of a 40mph Speed Limit.
On A6004 Terry Yardley Way, Quorn and Loughborough, the revocation of the existing 50mph Speed Limit and the imposition of a 40mph Speed Limit.

The consultation for this Traffic Regulation Order was carried out for a period of three weeks between 12 February 2025 and 5 March 2025. It was advertised in the local press, and on Leicestershire County Council’s website. All of the statutory consultees were contacted, and no objections were received. Ms B. Gray CC and Mr P. Rudkin CC were in support of the scheme.
