Following the construction of a new signalised cycle crossing on Harborough Road and upgrading the existing signalised crossing on New Street to a Toucan Crossing, it was necessary to prohibit a left turn for vehicles travelling Northbound on Harborough Road, into New Street, Oadby.
The banned movement was proposed to reinforce the layout of the junction, which will discourage the movement physically.
To implement a Banned Left Turn restriction on New Street, Oadby
