On behalf of Severn Trent Water, due to the installation of street lighting, it was necessary to impose a de-restriction to the National Speed Limit (Street Lighting located within the existing National Speed Limit) on Appleby Lane, Snarestone.
The proposed de-restriction was intended to provide a safe highway environment.

It was advertised in the local press, and on the County Council’s website. All statutory consultees were consulted. No comments or objections were received.
The local Member Mr V. Richichi CC supported the scheme.
