Parking by visitors to Anstey Nomads Football Club occurs along Cropston Road and on King Williams Way, Anstey.at the weekend and at times on weekdays in the evening.
This parking creates an obstruction for through traffic and was a hazard, reducing forward visibility of oncoming traffic and visibility of pedestrians.
To implement No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on Cropston Road, Anstey.

The scheme was advertised and formally consulted upon from Wednesday 1 April to the Wednesday 24 April 2026, a period of three weeks. The essential consultees, and the local residents received notifications. Notices were posted on site and the proposals were posted on the Council’s consultation webpage.
Of the correspondence that the Council received in response to the consultation, twenty-three people objected to the scheme, whilst thirty people were in support and, three gave comments.
The local Member Mrs D. Taylor CC supported the proposals.
