Revocation of the 18 Tonnes Weight Limit on Zouch Bridge, Zouch

Decision Maker: Director of Growth, Environment and Transport

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Purpose:

A structural survey of Zouch Bridge identified damage that necessitated the implementation of an 18 Tonne Weight Limit to limit the further deterioration of the bridge. The Weight Limit was subsequently introduced and plans to build a replacement bridge were implemented. Now that the replacement bridge has been constructed and is in operation, the 18 Tonne Weight Limit was no longer required.

Decision:

To revoke the 18 Tonnes Weight Limit on Zouch Bridge, Zouch.
