Development Control and Regulatory Board

Purpose of committee

The Board is responsible for exercising the County Council's functions relating to development control (planning).  This includes making decisions on applications relating to Public Rights of Way, Tree Preservation Orders (those made by the County Council), Commons Registration, Minerals and Waste developments, and the County Council's own developments.  The Board also advises the Cabinet on responses to planning consultation exercises which have been referred by District Councils.

 

Meetings of the Board take place every 4-5 weeks.
