To select the preferred bidders for the site of the former Heathfield School, Belle Vue Road, and the former school playing field at Heath Lane, Earl Shilton, marketed as separate development opportunities.
It was decided to dispose of the playing field site, with overage provisions, to a developer wishing to use the upper area of the playing fields for a residential development.
The preferred bidder for the school site proposes to develop the land for extra care housing. Overage provisions will apply.
