We the undersigned petition the Council to Parking at Millfield LEAD is already restricted via a no stop zone on both the Hat road and Woodcote road entrances. However this is not enforced by LCC. Parents and affected residents of the area have asked for several years for the enforcement cars to patrol more regularly. This is not carried out on any sort of regular basis. I myself have sent my children to Millfield for the last 7 years and have viewed the car TWICE. Both residents and the local PCSO have requested data as to the published patrol dates of the enforcement area and not received this.
Parents are afraid for the safety of their children here. The school and local policing team have done their best to educate parents about not parking in the area however parents refuse to park responsibility and there is currently NO deterrent.
The responsibility of the enforcement zone lies with the council. We are therefore petitioning that the council commit to a regular schedule of patrol over both school entrances. Parents wo

illegal and dangerous parking on both school entrances. Parents are
regularly forced to walk their children and pushchairs into the
road in order to pass by cars parked in the no stop zone
