Leicestershire County Council proposed to make this order to update the existing traffic regulation orders along The Lawns and Orchard Street, Hinckley.
No physical changes are being made to the highway or its existing layout along any of the above-named roads.
The changes are necessary to correct anomalies in the legal orders and ensure that the one-way System along The Lawns and Orchard Street is enforceable.

Consultation process
The consultation was carried out for a period of three weeks between 26 November 2025 and 17 December 2025. It was advertised in the local press, and on Leicestershire County Council’s website. All statutory consultees were contacted, and no objections were received. The local Member Mr S. Bray CC supported the scheme.
