Implementation of a 30mph Speed Limit Extension on Ashley Road, Medbourne

On behalf of the developer, Countryside Construction Services, Leicestershire County Council proposed to extend the 30mph Speed Limit on Ashley Road, Medbourne. The purpose of extending the 30mph Speed Limit was so that drivers reduce their speed in advance of the access road off Ashley Road that serves the new development. The extension of the 30mph Speed Limit was intended to make it safer for drivers accessing and egressing the development. The order was introduced to improve road safety.
