The agreed aim of the Leicestershire Rural Partnership (LRP) is to work together to improve the quality of life of those living and working in rural Leicestershire.

The Leicestershire Rural partnership has identified the following priorities:

• Priority 1- Active, inclusive and empowered parish councils and meetings
• Priority 2:Working with communities to deliver local services
• Priority 3:An enterprising and sustainable rural economy
• Priority 4:More affordable homes in rural areas
• Cross Cutting – Rural Transport Solutions, A better environment, Superfast Broadband
