Current ePetitions

An E-Petition is a petition which collects signatures online. This allows petitions and supporting information to be made available to a potentially much wider audience than a traditional paper based petition. Anyone who lives, works or studies in Leicestershire or is the recipient of a County Council Service can submit or sign an e-Petition.

Please follow this link for guidance on submitting and signing an e-petition (which should be read in conjunction with the County Council's Petitions Scheme contained in Part 10 of the Constitution)

You can submit a new petition below or sign an existing petition by accessing any of the Active e-Petitions that are listed

In order to sign an ePetition you need to be registered as a user. You can do this by clicking here. Anyone who signs a petition is required to submit their name and address as outlined in Part 10 of the County Council’s Constitution. With the exception of the lead petitioner (the person organising the petition), this information will only be used for the purpose of verifying the signatories to a petition, and will not be used elsewhere within the Council. The contact details for the lead petitioner will be passed on to the appropriate officer(s) within the County Council so that they can liaise and correspond with the petitioner.
