The traffic calming measures were proposed in association with the Thorpebury in the Limes development, intended to discourage development traffic from travelling through adjacent villages. The developer was obliged to deliver traffic calming measures as part of the Section 106 (Town and Country Planning Act 1990) of their planning consent and worked closely with the local development action group (BABTAG) to develop the proposals.

To implement the installation of traffic calming measures in Barkby and Barkby Thorpe, including the installation of five speed humps, one mini roundabout and one priority chicane.

The changes were necessary to correct anomalies in the legal orders and to ensure that all existing restrictions along Hill Street, Mount Road, and The Lawns were enforceable.

To update the existing traffic regulation orders along Hill Street, Mount Road, The Lawns, Queens Road, Thornycroft Road, Princess Road, Priesthills Road, Hinckley.
No physical changes will be made to the highway or its existing layout along any of the above-named roads.

The crossing formed part of a Section 278 Highway Improvement Scheme in Hinckley. The Toucan Crossing was required to improve pedestrian and cycle access to a new residential development for Bloors Homes.

To implement the Proposed Toucan Crossing on Normandy Way, Hinckley, to be constructed by the developer Bloor Homes.

Several concerns were raised to the school and the County Council regarding vehicles parking closely to the school gate and creating a dangerous environment with restricted visibility for children entering and exiting the school.

To implement School Keep Clear Restrictions on Westfield Road, Hinckley. The Restrictions are between Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

The County Council had received a request on behalf of developer Mayway Construction, to impose No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions to prohibit obstructive parking outside Whetstone Baptist Church and improve the flow of traffic from the junction of Cambridge Road.

To implement No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions on Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone.

To address Mandatory Disabled Parking Bays for specific residents that could not have an Advisory Bay due to living in a Resident Parking Zone.

To implement the replacement of sections of Residents Permit Parking/Limited Waiting Bays with Mandatory Disabled Persons Parking Bays in Loughborough and the removal of redundant Mandatory Disabled Bays and reinstating Residents Parking/Limited Waiting in Loughborough.
To replace sections of Residents Permit Parking/Limited Waiting Bay with Mandatory Disabled Persons Parking Bays, within: Resident parking zone 1 outside 4 and 6 Arthur Street; Residents parking zone 5 outside 61 and 63 Cumberland Road; Residents parking zone 6 outside 36 and 38 Rendell Street; Residents parking zone 8 outside 126 and 128 Ratcliffe Road.
To remove redundant disabled persons parking bays outside: 65 Cartwright Street and replace with permit only parking; 33 and 35 Ratcliffe Road and replace with Limited Waiting 1 Hour No Return Within 1 Hour Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm Except Resident's Parking Permit Holders.

The County Council required a specialist contractor to provide Road Marking, Road Stud & Crack Sealing services.

The County Council received a request to impose No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on Henson Close and Burnham Drive, Whetstone.

All County roads that were assigned the national speed limit had been reviewed to identify those with an accident rate that was higher than the national average. The A444 from Twycross to Atterton had been identified to have a total number of accidents above the national average.

To implement the 50mph Speed Limit on A444.

Shawell Parish Council requested that the speed limit through the village was reduced from 30mph to 20mph.
The County Council carried out speed surveys in Shawell and the data collected demonstrated that the speeds were conducive to a 20mph speed limit.

To implement the 20mph speed limit on the following roads: Lutterworth Road, Gibbet Lane, Main Street, Bullaces Lane, Catthorpe Road and Swinford Road in the village of Shawell.

The County Council was undertaking works on behalf of North West Leicestershire District Council to improve the public realm at Marlborough Square, Coalville.

To implement the various waiting restrictions at Marlborough Square, Coalville, including:
A Pedestrian Zone on the Northern section of Marlborough Square with No Vehicles Except For Loading between 4pm and 10am and No Waiting At Any Time restrictions.
No Waiting At Any Time / No Loading At Any Time restrictions on Jackson Street and Marlborough Square.
A Taxi bay with No Stopping Except Taxis on the southern section of Marlborough Square.
Limited Waiting of 30 mins no return within 1 hour 8am - 6pm on Jackson Street.
Disabled badge holders only Monday-Saturday 8am – 6pm 3 hours no return within 1 hour on Jackson Street.
A Bus Stand Clearway on Jackson Street no stopping 6am – 8pm except buses.
A Bus Stop Clearway on Belvoir Road with no stopping except buses.

The County Council was undertaking works on behalf of North West Leicestershire District Council to improve the public realm at Marlborough Square, Coalville.

To implement the One Way & Banned Left Turn restrictions at Marlborough Square, Coalville, including a One Way system from Jackson Street into both the northern and southern sections of Marlborough Square with vehicles travelling east to Belvoir Road.

To address several reported community concerns regarding inconsiderate parking in various locations within the village of Thurnby.

To implement No Waiting At Any Time and No Waiting & No Loading At Any Time restrictions in various locations within the village of Thurnby, on parts of the following roads: Grange Lane, Holmleigh Gardens, Main Street, Court Road, St Luke’s Close, Bradgate Close, A47 Uppingham Road, Station Road, Forest Rise and Charnwood Drive.

The County Council had chosen to review the existing parking provision due to the number of concerns raised by members of the public and businesses regarding the availability of parking in Hinckley Town Centre.

To implement the Hinckley Town Centre Improvements scheme. To increase the number of limited waiting bays, including changes to the timings of the limited waiting bays. To relocate the bus stop away from the pedestrian crossing point.

The Peugeot Boxer L3 Crew Cab Tipper were the preferred chassis and body converted by TGS based on a whole life cost modelling assessment.

To implement the award of a contract for fourteen 3.5 ton Double Cab Multi-purpose Tippers to TGS (UK) Ltd via lot 10 of CCS RM6244 Framework.
